May 31, 2010 - Bay Club census - Towhee 6,Titmouse 1 ,Cowbird 2,Chipping Sparrow 6, Veery 2, Catbird 3, Yellow warbler (?), Nuthatch 1, Robin 4, House finch 1, Oriole 5, Great crested flycatcher 4, Tree swallow 5, Red-bellied woodpecker 2, Cedar waxwing 12, Goldfinch 5, Pine warbler 7, Song sparrow 3 , Red wing Blackbird 5, Grackle 5, House sparrow 1, Bluebird 4, Red-eyed vireo 2, Warbling vireo 4, Flicker 1. Ovenbird 1, Downy woodpecker 1, Eastern wood peewee 1, Blue jay 2, Eastern king bird 1, Canada geese 2 adult and 2 young, Mourning dove 1, Red tail hawk 4, Phoebe 1, Cardinal 1, Turkey vulture 2, Hummingbird 1, Great blue heron 2, Carolina wren 1, Black & white warbler 1, Barn swallow 2, 41---a nice round number! Plus several golfers claiming to have had birdies.
