Sunny, cold -- low 40s
Long Road--Lots of birds singing. Nothing unusual--Cardinals, Jays, Crows, Goldfinches, House Finches, Catbird, Flickers, Downies, Chickadees, Titmice, Yellow-rumped Warblers, heard Golden-crowned Kinglets. Lots of Red-winged Blackbirds singing at each other. Mallards.

Mill Road and soccer fields. Almost nothing.

Walked down RR bed from Shaw Road to YMCA. Best birds at RR bridge. Two Turkey Vultures together, Red-breasted and Hooded Mergansers, Buffleheads battling both above and below the water. G. Black-backed gulls. A pair of Canada Geese in the marsh. Horned Grebe.
Hermit Thrush on the path.
